Welcome to PrepMaster. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of PrepMaster, including our website, web app, mobile app, review platform, courses, review modes, AI-assisted features, payment system, and related services.

By creating an account, accessing PrepMaster, enrolling in a course, using our review materials, or making a payment, you agree to these Terms of Use.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use PrepMaster.

1. About PrepMaster

PrepMaster is an online review and learning platform designed to help students, professionals, board exam takers, and government civil service examination takers prepare through structured courses, practice questions, review modes, exam modes, smart review features, AI-assisted explanations, rationale-based materials, analytics, and progress tracking.

PrepMaster is a private educational review platform. It is not a government agency and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any licensure board, government examination body, school, university, or government office unless expressly stated in writing.

2. Eligibility

By using PrepMaster, you confirm that:

You are capable of entering into these Terms.
The information you provide is true, correct, and complete.
You will use the app only for lawful educational and review purposes.
If you are a minor, you have permission from your parent or legal guardian.
3. Account Registration

Students may register using:

Email and password
Google account
Apple account

When registering, you may be required to provide your name, email address, contact number, school, selected course, and other enrollment-related information.

If you register using Google or Apple, you may still be required to complete your profile before proceeding with payment, uploading receipts, or completing course enrollment.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

4. Account Approval and Access

Student accounts may require administrator approval before course access is granted.

After approval, a student may receive:

Limited access
Temporary access
Full access

Limited or temporary access may be restricted by:

Number of days
Number of questions
Course, subject, or module access
Review mode or exam mode availability
Payment status

Full access is granted only after payment is verified and permanently confirmed by an authorized administrator, unless the administrator grants special access manually.

5. One-Device Login Policy

PrepMaster may allow only one active device per student account at a time.

If you log in using another device, your previous device may be automatically logged out. This feature is intended to protect accounts and prevent unauthorized account sharing.

You agree not to share your account with other users.

6. Course Enrollment and Payment

Some courses may require payment before full access is granted.

PrepMaster may use a PayMongo payment link or another payment service provider for course payments. PayMongo provides payment link services and has its own terms and policies that may apply when users pay through its platform.

After payment, you may be required to upload proof of payment, such as a receipt, screenshot, or payment reference number.

Payment submission does not automatically guarantee full access. Full access is granted only after administrator verification and confirmation.

7. Payment Verification

Uploaded proof of payment will be reviewed by an authorized administrator.

The administrator may:

Verify payment
Reject payment
Request another proof of payment
Grant full access manually
Keep the student on limited access until payment is confirmed

If payment proof is rejected, you may be asked to upload a valid receipt or reference number.

8. Refund Policy

All payments are subject to the refund policy of PrepMaster.

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

Review course fees may be non-refundable once access has been granted.
Payments may not be refunded after the student has accessed course content.
Refund requests may be reviewed case by case.
Processing fees charged by third-party payment providers may not be refundable.

9. Use of Review Materials

All review materials inside PrepMaster, including questions, choices, explanations, rationales, images, modules, analytics, study plans, and app features, are for personal review use only.

Students are not allowed to:

Copy, reproduce, screenshot, download, sell, or distribute review materials without permission
Share account access with another person
Upload PrepMaster content to social media, groups, websites, or other platforms
Use the content for commercial review centers or competing platforms
Attempt to extract, scrape, or copy the question bank

Violation may result in account suspension, termination, or legal action.

10. AI-Assisted Features

PrepMaster may include AI-assisted features such as:

AI-generated explanations
Smart Review recommendations
Weak area detection
Personalized study suggestions
AI learning insights

AI-generated content is for educational support only. It may not always be perfect, complete, or error-free.

Students should use AI explanations as a study aid and not as the sole basis for examination preparation.

For some modules, such as abstract reasoning or image-based exams, PrepMaster may use manually prepared Rationale instead of AI explanations.

11. No Guarantee of Passing

PrepMaster is a review and learning support platform.

We do not guarantee that use of the app will result in:

Passing a board examination
Passing the civil service examination
Passing any professional or academic examination
Admission, employment, promotion, licensure, certification, or qualification

Your performance depends on many factors, including your study habits, preparation, understanding, and actual examination conditions.

12. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use PrepMaster for illegal purposes
Share or sell your account
Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent payment proof
Attempt to hack, disrupt, overload, or damage the system
Reverse engineer or copy the platform
Use bots, scripts, scraping tools, or automated access
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or administrators
Upload harmful files, malware, or offensive content

Violation may result in account restriction, suspension, or deletion.

13. Account Suspension or Termination

PrepMaster may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account if the user:

Violates these Terms
Shares an account
Uploads fraudulent payment proof
Misuses course content
Attempts unauthorized system access
Engages in abusive or harmful behavior
Fails to comply with payment or verification requirements

PrepMaster may also restrict access if a student’s temporary access expires or payment is not confirmed.

14. Account Deletion

Students may request or initiate account deletion, if this feature is available.

Before deletion, the student may be required to confirm the action by typing:

DELETE

Account deletion may be permanent and may result in loss of:

Profile information
Course access
Review progress
Exam history
Smart Review records
Badges
Leaderboard data
Uploaded receipts
Learning analytics

Some records may be retained for legal, security, audit, payment, or administrative purposes.

15. Intellectual Property

All content, design, logo, software, course materials, question banks, rationales, explanations, graphics, user interface elements, and system features of PrepMaster are owned by or licensed to PrepMaster.

You are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the platform for personal learning and review only.

No ownership rights are transferred to you.

16. Third-Party Services

PrepMaster may use third-party services, including but not limited to:

Payment processors
Google sign-in
Apple sign-in
Cloud hosting providers
AI service providers
Analytics or storage providers

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, and requirements.

PrepMaster is not responsible for issues caused by third-party platforms, including payment failures, downtime, account authentication problems, or service interruptions.

17. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of PrepMaster is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

We may collect and process personal information to provide account access, course enrollment, payment verification, learning analytics, support, security, and app improvement.

Users may have rights relating to their personal information, including rights to access, correction, objection, erasure or blocking, and other rights recognized by applicable privacy laws.

18. App Availability and Changes

We aim to keep PrepMaster available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

PrepMaster may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including:

Courses
Question banks
AI features
Review modes
Payment systems
Access rules
Pricing
Subscription or enrollment terms

We may also perform maintenance, updates, or security improvements without prior notice.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, PrepMaster, its owners, administrators, employees, developers, partners, and service providers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Exam failure
Loss of access due to account violation
Internet or device issues
Payment provider issues
Incorrect use of review materials
AI-generated errors
Temporary downtime
Data loss caused by factors beyond reasonable control
20. User Responsibility

You are responsible for:

Reviewing consistently
Verifying your account information
Uploading correct payment proof
Keeping your account secure
Completing your profile when required
Understanding that PrepMaster is a support tool, not a guarantee of passing
Following all app rules and policies
21. Changes to These Terms

PrepMaster may update these Terms of Use from time to time.

When changes are made, we may update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

22. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, unless another jurisdiction is specified by the owner/operator of PrepMaster.

Any dispute shall first be addressed through good-faith communication with PrepMaster support before pursuing formal legal remedies.
